Today cflo inc. is launching two new apps: Stemverter 2 and 3vise. I am also officially launching my software company, cflo inc. My personal journey of DJing full time in nightclubs for the past 15 years, as well as my history working in Apple support, has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to be uniquely suited to create these programs. Producers and DJs are always having to deal with software issues that bog down the process of making their art, and my apps are specifically designed to solve those problems.

Stemverter 2 is a macOS desktop app that allows DJs and music producers to separate any song into its stems (Acapella, Instrumental, Drums, Bass, Piano, and Transients) using a simple drag and drop interface. Unlike other stem separation solutions on the market, Stemverter 2 converts files using local processing power and outputs files as hard copies for use in music production or live DJ sets.

This latest version adds the ability for a user to batch convert files, choose between WAV or MP3 output, and employs ID3 cloning and smart file naming to make file management much easier for the user. It also supports macOS 10.12 Sierra – 11.3 Big Sur (Intel only).

3vise is a brand new macOS desktop app, designed for DJs who have files in their libraries that are marked as “corrupt” in Serato (denoted with a lightning bolt icon) but that still contain playable audio.

Employing a drag and drop interface, 3vise allows users to Scan and Repair mp3s with one-click, as well as optionally “scrub” the ID3 metadata that may be causing issues with the file. Users get the option of repairing the source file in place, meaning they will not have to relocate the files or make any changes to their DJ libraries. We have posted detailed instructions that outline the step-by-step process for using 3vise.
