ACRAZE is an up-and-coming DJ/producer who currently resides in Orlando, FL. Fairly new to the game, don’t let his experience fool you as he has support from some of the biggest names in the industry including GTA, Steve Aoki, Party Favor, 4B, Wuki, Laidback Luke, Ookay, and many more. ACRAZE is one DJ/producer who’s stock will only continue to rise in 2018 and we are betting big on him. We recently had the chance to sit-down with ACRAZE prior to one of his jam-packed shows in Tampa, FL before he opened up for 4B.
How did you get the name ACRAZE?
It’s pronounced “Ah-craze”. When I was in high school, I was DJing this warehouse party and my friend at the party found some caution tape and started calling me DJ Caution. Later on, I was trying to find a related synonym to caution and this word ACRAZE came up.
How did you get started as DJ/Producer?
I was actually planning on moving to LA and attend Icon Collective because that’s where a lot of talented guys went, but instead I taught myself everything with the help of the internet. I didn’t get started as a DJ until about two years ago and produce professionally until last year.
What three words describe your style?
Energetic, booty-bouncing, and fun!
Who has influenced?
Definitely 4B. I remember attending EDC Orlando 2015 and watching 4B perform live and telling myself this is exactly who I want to be. Snake and Diplo are the other guys I dig because they have their own unique styles.

If you had to start a tour tomorrow and bring in any three DJs, who would you bring on tour?
Teez, Vargo, and of course 4B.
What can fans expect to see from going to one of your shows?
Very energetic! I’ll throw in a little Jersey Club, touch the hearts with some slow stuff, then back to energetic, and maybe throw some hard stuff.
What is your ultimate goal as DJ?
To be the best.
What do you like to do for fun?
Sports, I love basketball. The Miami Heat are my team.

What is something many people don’t know about you?
I’m very down to earth. Lots of DJs may come off as big-headed or cocky, I’m not like that. I’m easy going, easy to talk too, and I try to connect with everyone on a personal level.
Who are you listening too right now?
Lots of rap music, mainly Travis Scott and Kanye West. And of course Jersey Club.
Who is somebody you’ve always wanted to do a collab with?
Diplo, Slander, A-Trak, and DJ Snake.
Where does the inspiration from your tracks come from?
I get inspired from any and all everyday life events.

Where is one place you’ve always wanted to play?
Bootshaus in Köln, Germany. That place is so crazy and wild.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Headlining main stages. I want to bring Jersey Club to another level that everyone can enjoy.
